Bit late to jump on the bandwagon with this one, due to the fact that I've had a huge love for the makeup brushes from Sportsgirl. They've been my love for a long time but it was time to switch it up!
A couple of months ago I invested in two packs of Real Techniques brushes by Sam and Nic Chapman - Website here

I actually bought the core collection, which consists of a detailer brush, pointed foundation brush, buffing brush and contour brush. I wasn't a huge fan of the foundation brush as I love using bigger brushes, although it does still give good coverage. With an 8 month old I tend to need everything done as quickly as possible in the mornings so bigger is always better! Every day I also use the buffing brush to apply my powder over my foundation. It is also quite small, although I find it gives much better coverage and stays on a lot longer than when I use a bigger brush - therefore I find it a much better option to use (even though it may take longer!)
The other collection I invested in was the starter set. This is an eye set. It includes a base eyeshadow brush, deluxe crease brush, accent brush, fine liner brush and brow brush. This set in my opinion includes everything you need to have perfect eyeshadow and brows (minus the tweezers) and it definitely something to put on the shopping list!

Both of these sets come with a stand/case which can be converted either way for easy storage or show. They are both on sale at Priceline - The eye starter set is $39.99 and the core set is $44.99. Although it is definitely worth shopping around the internet as you can always find them cheaper than that - especially from American sites (if you're willing to wait for postage!)
All over, I would repurchase these in a second and if I ever need to I will. They are something you should invest in because they look great and work perfectly!
