Perfumes I Couldn't Live Without

Have you ever been getting ready to go on a date, to a party, to dinner, shopping etc and just been completely stuck on what perfume you should be wearing for the occasion? Well I'm here to help out and give you a little bit of a guide on what I would wear for a couple of different occasions. Obviously, I haven't tried every perfume in the world, but within my perfume collection, I'll give you a few pointers.

On A Date or Dinner

Whenever I go on a date (rarely) I have a few go-to options for fragrances. These may not be for everyone, but they're definitely for me. If you're like me, I tend to go for more sultry, sexy scents for a night time date.

  1. Dot by Marc Jacobs - This is exactly what I would except the colour red in a perfume to smell like, it is dark, strong and powerful yet also slightly sweet.
  2. Lola by Marc Jacobs - He can just do no wrong, this perfume is more of a floral version of Dot, but still smells very strong and powerful as well and even an undertone of spicy.
  3. Flora by Gucci - This is a more grown up floral scent. It is quite heavy when you first put it on, and then it lowers to a softer yet still powerful floral scent that lasts a very long time.
Shopping or a Party

If you're like me, you are extremely addicted to sweet, sugary scents. They are my go-to and they're what I wear if I'm leaving the house to go out shopping or to lunch.

  1. Juice Couture Viva La Juicy - If you haven't smelt this, definitely go now! It is so sweet, with a sort of musky undertone. It is my favourite of all the Juicy perfumes. Think candy with a slight musk stick.
  2. Katy Perry Meow - This would have to be one of the best celebrity perfumes and also the cheapest - think sugar, lolly water, just sweetness. Probably my favourite perfume of all time.
  3. Vera Wang Lovestruck - If you've smelt Vera Wang Princess, it is very much like that. A little more of a stronger floral, but overall, muchly the same.

I hope you love all of these just as much as I do!
