2. They all (mostly) came REALLY late.
But regardless, here they are in all their glory! Violet Box wasn't a huge winner for me this month. It included some really good products and I will use all of them anyway, but it didn't really wow me the way two of the others did this month. I'm still keeping my subscription though :)
Starting off, there was the "Foltene Eyelash Treatment RRP $20.95" and I received full size.
I'm a bit hesitant to try this due to the fact that I don't have any problems with my eyelash growth, and it can also be used on eyebrows, again no problems there. I do think it was a really good inclusion to the box though. Hopefully sometime soon I can try this out. What a shame it didn't come straight after my eyelash extensions came off! I really could have used it then. Smells somewhat chemical like though (as you would expect).
Next up, was the "Be a Bombshell Eyeshadow Quad in New York City" RRP $22 and it was full size. Now it looks like everyone got the same colour as I've seen from many posts - if you got a different colour let me know! Apart from that, I love the colours so I will use them anyway! I'm not a huge eyeshadow person, but hopefully it will force me into it. They glide on so lovely and smooth and hopefully (with some eyeshadow primer) it will stay on for a day! The colours are pretty sheer apart from black though so you'd really have to pack it on!
I received a lipgloss "Evelyn Iona Lipgloss" in Lise RRP $20.50 and it was full size. I believe a couple of colours were sent out for the lipgloss which is great. I have plenty of lipglosses at the moment, but i'm happy to add another one, especially considering I love the colour! I love the colour I received. It was slightly dark, but it is beautiful. Also it smells like vanilla so i'm all for it!
Next I received "Appelles Rosemary Body Bar Soap" RRP $5.95. This has been included in a few beauty boxes - I guess they're very willing participants. Although they are amazing soaps. I've tried one of the others, but I haven't made my way to this scent yet! I can't overly smell the Rosemary though to be honest. The smell coming at me is more of a lemon smell. That could just be me though! In my previous experiences, they've been so nourishing and the smell is so comforting and refreshing at the same time. I recommend this soap to anyone and everyone.
And last but not least, I received a hand lotion "Camille Beckman Glycerine Hand Therapy" RRP $18.95 for 6oz. This was a sample size. It has the most amazing smell. It kind of has a hint of men's cologne but in a subtle more sophisticated way and going on it is so smooth and thick, but a little goes a long long way. I would definitely buy this as my usual hand lotion (not that I usually buy hand lotions!) But it is a beautiful little inclusion with the flower on the top!
My impression of this box was that I was pretty impressed. It wasn't overwhelmingly great but I feel like I got my money's worth definitely! I'll continue with this subscription. I haven't continued with a couple of others which have just really not impressed me to the point where I don't care to receive the next box (I'm sure you can pick the ones) But this is one i'm happy to stick with and I hope you do too!
